(1) Single parting surface injection mold
When opening the mold, the moving mold and the fixed mold are separated, so as to remove the plastic parts, called the single parting surface mold, also known as the double plate mold. It is the simplest and most basic form of injection mold, it can be designed into a single cavity injection mold according to needs, can also be designed into a multi-cavity injection mold, is the most widely used injection mold.
(2) Double parting surface injection mold
Double parting surface injection mold has two parting surfaces, compared with the single parting surface injection mold, the double parting surface injection mold adds a middle plate that can be moved locally in the fixed mold part (also called the active gate plate, which is provided with the gate, flow path and other parts and components required for the fixed mold), so it is also called three plate (moving template, middle plate, fixed template) injection mold;
It is often used for single cavity or multi-cavity injection molds with point gate feed. When opening the mold, the intermediate plate is separated from the fixed template at a fixed distance on the guide post of the fixed mold in order to remove the pouring system condensate between the two templates. The structure of the double parting injection mold is complex, the manufacturing cost is high, the parts are difficult to process, and it is generally not used for the molding of large or extra-large plastic products.
(3) Injection mold with lateral parting and core pulling mechanism
When the plastic part has side holes or side depressions, it is necessary to use a core or slide block that can move sideways. After injection molding, the moving die first moves down a certain distance, and then the bevel section of the bent pin fixed on the fixed template forces the slider to move outward, while the push rod of the ejector mechanism pushes the pushing plate to remove the plastic part from the core.
(4) Injection mold with movable forming parts
Due to the special structure of some plastic parts, it is required that the injection mold is equipped with movable forming parts, such as movable punch, movable concave die, movable insert, movable threaded core or ring, etc., which can be moved out of the mold with the plastic parts during demoulding and then separated from the plastic parts.
(5) Automatic unloading screw injection mould
For the threaded plastic parts, when automatic stripping is required, the threaded core or ring can be set on the mold to rotate, using the mold opening action or the rotating mechanism of the injection molding machine, or a special transmission device is set to drive the threaded core or the threaded ring to rotate, so as to release the plastic parts.
(6) No channel injection mold No channel injection mold
It refers to the method of adiabatic heating of the flow channel to keep the plastic molten between the cavity of the injection molding machine nozzle, so that there is no solidification of the pouring system when the plastic parts are taken out by opening the mold. The former is called adiabatic runner injection mold, and the latter is called hot runner injection mold.
(7) Right-angle injection mold
The Angle injection mold is only suitable for the Angle injection molding machine, and the other injection mold is very different from the direction of the feed and the direction of the opening and closing mold during the molding. His main channel is opened on both sides of the moving and fixed die parting surface, and its cross-sectional area is usually constant, which is different from the mold used by other injection molding machines, the end of the main channel, in order to prevent the injection molding machine nozzle and the main channel inlet end of the wear and deformation, can be set with a replaceable flow channel insert.
(8) Injection mold of the ejector mechanism on the fixed mold
In most injection molds, the ejector device is installed on the side of the moving mold, which is conducive to the work of the ejector device in the opening and closing mold system of the injection molding machine. In actual production, because some plastic parts are limited by the shape, it is better to leave the plastic part on the fixed mold side for molding, which makes the plastic part out of the mold, it is necessary to set the release mechanism on the fixed mold side.
